Carver Gate Repair Tampa runs on a small crew of people who actually like working on gates. We’re not a call center that subcontracts your repair to whoever picks up the phone. The technician who shows up at your driveway in Seminole Heights or Westchase is employed by us, trained by us, and held to the same written standard on every visit. Lonnie Burke built this crew around one idea: a gate that opens and closes every time doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when the people doing the work know exactly what they’re looking at and don’t leave until it’s right.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Lonnie Burke, Owner
Lonnie has run Carver Gate Repair Tampa since it joined the Garrison Partners family, and he still rides along on service calls when the schedule gets tight. He came up through the trade the way most gate people do: fixing whatever rolled or slid or swung in front of him, then learning the electronics side when swing operators and loop detectors started showing up on every other driveway in Tampa. Lonnie writes the repair checklists the crew follows, and he’s the one who reads every callback report. He doesn’t believe in “good enough” when it comes to a gate that’s supposed to keep a dog in or keep a car out. If a repair fails inside the guarantee window, he’s the one who sends the truck back at no charge.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on gate systems for over a decade, and he’s our lead on motor diagnostics and control board work. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster and FAAC operators, which matters when a circuit board in a 2018 swing operator decides to stop talking to the remote. Marcus keeps a running mental map of Tampa’s neighborhoods, so when a customer in Carrollwood says their gate “sounds different,” he usually knows what he’s walking into before he parks the truck. Outside of work, he restores old motorcycles and has been known to diagnose a gate limit switch problem in the middle of a Bucs game conversation.
Rayna S., Senior Installer
Rayna leads our new gate installations, from measuring the driveway slope in South Tampa to setting posts for a driveway gate in Land O’ Lakes. She’s the one who catches problems before they become change orders, like a swing gate arc that clears the sidewalk today but won’t clear it after a landscaping project. Rayna trained on BFT and Viking operators and does most of her work on custom and semi-custom installations where the gate has to match an existing fence line. She’s meticulous about clean job sites and has a habit of sending the customer photos of the finished work from three different angles before she leaves.
Danny R., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice you hear when you call Carver Gate Repair Tampa at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m. He’s not a call center operator reading from a script; he dispatches the crew, schedules the work, and keeps the parts organized. Danny has been with the Garrison network long enough that he can walk a homeowner through a basic safety check over the phone while a technician is en route. He also handles the warranty paperwork, which means every customer gets their written guarantee in hand before the truck leaves the driveway. He’s the reason a callback gets scheduled within the day instead of “sometime next week.”
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this crew works to the same set of rules, what Garrison Partners calls The Garrison Standard. It’s not a slogan on a poster. It’s a written checklist that covers how we arrive, what we inspect, how we quote, and what we leave behind. The price gets written down before any work starts. The guarantee gets written down before we leave. If the repair fails within that year, the second visit is free. Lonnie doesn’t bend those rules for weather, for workload, or for a customer who says “just make it work and don’t worry about the details.” The details are the job. That’s how a gate repair company in Tampa keeps its name attached to work it’s proud of, year after year.
